I was recently walking on Dartmoor as the sun was going down when I came a cross a beautiful hen pheasant tucked up in the grasses and ready to sleep. I liked that she didn’t seem at all threatened by my presence. I watched her for a while and decided to capture this special moment in my previous painting and then painted her a mate in this large oil painting.
Signed and titled on the back and ready to hang.
